Established in 2002, Chinese E Jiao Museum is the first museum in China that focuses on donkey-hide gelatin—a single traditional Chinese medicinal herb. The museum collects thousands of donkey-hide gelatin related characters, books, pictures and video materials, such as the tribute donkey-hide gelatin during the Daoguang Period of the Qing Dynasty. At the museum, visitors can fully understand the long-lasting history and culture of donkey-hide gelatin.
